Susan P. Hubbard, DVM

rochester ny veterinarianDr. Susan Hubbard has an extensive history of caring for pets in the Greece area. A general practitioner at Greece Animal Hospital starting in 2012, Dr. Hubbard started her animal care career at Stone Ridge Veterinary Hospital as a kennel worker and animal care assistant in 1986. A native of Rochester, NY, she continued working at Stone Ridge during school breaks until 1994 and returned to the hospital as an associate veterinarian in 2002 before joining Greece Animal Hospital in 2012.

Dr. Hubbard attended the University of Rochester and received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1994. She continued her education at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She previously practiced medicine at Barton Heights Veterinary Hospital from 1998 to 2000 and the Animal Hospital of Pittsford from 2000 to 2002.

Her professional interests include dermatology, canine reproduction and dentistry. She is a member of the Genessee Valley Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Hubbard is also active in the care and treatment of puppies and guide dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.

At home, Dr. Hubbard enjoys reading, gardening and spending time with her family, which includes her husband, Todd, and their four children.

 

Holly Guenther, DVM

veterinarian in rochester nyDr. Guenther joined Greece Animal Hospital as a general practitioner in July 2012. Previously, she participated in a one-year small animal internship with Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Service and the Animal Hospital of Pittsford.

Originally from North Tonawanda, New York, Dr. Guenther attended SUNY Geneseo for her undergraduate studies where she earned Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in math in 2006. She attended Cornell University 's College of Veterinary Medicine and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Her professional interests include small animal general practice, shelter medicine and emergency and critical care.

Dr. Guenther has a Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix named Sayuri and two cats named Stubbie and Mac. During her free time, she enjoys reading, horseback riding, and spending time with her family.

Angela Bruni, LVT Supervisor

rochester ny veterinarianOriginally from Greece, New York, Angela is the Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor at Greece Animal Hospital, but she joined Monroe Veterinary Associates at Stone Ridge Veterinary Hospital in 1999. She received her veterinary technology degree from Medaille College.

Angela enjoys multiple aspects of her job, but the focal point is around the people. "I like working at Greece Animal Hospital because I'm able to establish relationships with clients and their pets," she said. "I am proud to work with such compassionate and wonderful co-workers."

She has one dog, a senior German Shepherd named Kayla. She also shares her home with her husband and two boys, who are very active. During her free time, she enjoys watching movies, cooking and participating in outdoor activities.

Denise Russell, CSR Supervisor

veterinarian in rochester nyRochester native Denise Russell became CSR Supervisor at Greece Animal Hospital in July 2013. She began her career caring for animals in 2002 as a Kennel Attendant at K9 Training & Boarding before becoming an Assistant Trainer. She is currently attending Medaille College to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Denise shares her home with her two sons and their four pets; a Sheltie named Roscoe, a mixed-breed dog named Snickers and two domestic short hair cats named Ninja and Toothless. She enjoys volunteering at Lollypop Farm, biking, kayaking, soccer, reading and scrapbooking.
