Robert M. Lann, DVM
Dr. Robert M. Lann is a general practitioner and the hospital director of Greece Animal Hospital. Dr. Lann has cared for pets at Greece Animal Hospital since 1992. He previously practiced medicine at Stoneridge Animal Hospital from 1988 to 1992.
A native of Ohio, Dr. Lann completed his undergraduate degree in Animal Science at The Ohio State University in 1983. In 1983, he was accepted into The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lann was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1987 and did his internship at the Animal Hospital of Pittsford from 1987–1988.
Dr. Lann finds working with animals to be very rewarding and is proud to help strengthen the bond between pets and their people. Among his many professional interests are cardiology, internal medicine, ultrasonography and dentistry. Dr. Lann is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Veterinary Medical Association, the New York State Veterinary Medical Association, and the Genesee Valley Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Lann and his wife, Dr. Aida Aponte-Lann, also a veterinarian, are the proud parents of two sons, Robert and Aidan. The family also includes two cats, Sherman and Faeden (Gaelic for 'Golden'). Soccer (he is a long-time Rochester Rhinos season ticket holder), traveling, running and history (particularly the Civil War) are among Dr. Lann's many interests and hobbies.
