Susan Hubbard, DVM
Dr. Hubbard's Bio
Dr. Susan Hubbard has an extensive history of caring for pets in the Greece area and has been the director of Greece Animal Hospital since 2012. A native of Rochester, New York, Dr. Hubbard began her career caring for animals at Stone Ridge Veterinary Hospital as a kennel attendant and animal care assistant in 1986. She returned to work for Monroe Veterinary Associates as an associate veterinarian at Pittsford Animal Hospital from 2000 to 2002, and Stone Ridge Veterinary Hospital from 2002 to 2012.
Dr. Hubbard attended the University of Rochester and received her bachelor’s degree in biology in 1994. She continued her education at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she was awarded her veterinary medicine doctorate in 1998. Dr. Hubbard also practiced medicine at Barton Heights Veterinary Hospital from 1998 to 2000. Her professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine, and dentistry. Dr. Hubbard is also active in the care and treatment of puppies and guides dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
At home, Dr. Hubbard enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her family, including her husband Todd and their four children. She also shares her home with Finn, a yellow lab, Jack, a terrier mix, Shakira, a rescued Curacao island dog, a turtle named Squirt, and a frog named Princess Pea (aka Carol).
Christina Harmon, DVM
Dr. Harmon's Bio
Dr. Christina Harmon is an associate veterinarian at Greece Animal Hospital. She graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 with her doctorate of veterinary medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Rochester in 2013.
She grew up on a small farm in Leroy, New York, and believes that growing up on a farm gave her the skills necessary to pursue veterinary medicine. She has been working at Greece Animal Hospital for almost 2 years and enjoys the camaraderie amongst the entire team. Her professional interests include dermatology, ophthalmology, and animal behavior.
At home, she has a wonderful Golden Retriever named Sydney, whom she loves spending time with along with the rest of her family. In her free time, she enjoys reading, lifting, basketball, softball, and various winter sports.
Katie Stayton, BVSc
Dr. Stayton's Bio
Dr. Katie Stayton is an associate veterinarian at Greece Animal Hospital. While living in New Zealand, she attended Massey University, where she earned her Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree (the equivalent to a doctorate of veterinary medicine).
Dr. Stayton began working in the animal care field while working towards her bachelor’s degree in life sciences from Cornell University. She loves that at Greece Animal Hospital, everyone is committed to their job and works together in a supportive and caring way to keep things running smoothly.
Dr. Stayton shares her home with her fiancé Bryan, a collie/lab mix named Ella, and cats named Femalee (pronounced like tamale), and Paco. She enjoys all outdoor activities, as well as cooking and baking when she is not working.

Vicki grew up in Avon, NY. She graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Alfred State College in 2005. Shortly after, she began work at Greece Animal Hospital as a licensed veterinary technician. She likes helping the animals in Greece and loves meeting new clients and working with her coworkers.
When she’s not at work, Vicki enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, Matt, and daughters, Faith and Olivia. She also enjoys reading, taking walks, and watching movies. She shares her home cats, Jazmine and Jamaica.
Lauren is a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Greece Animal Hospital. She just began her career in Greece but had been working in the animal-care industry for seven years.
Lauren says that everyone at the hospital is so helpful and welcoming that it makes it easy to feel like a team member. She loves spending time building relationships with the team and with their clients and patients.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside and cuddling her dogs. Lauren’s dogs include a Lhasa apso mix named Zoey.
Alexa is a full-time veterinary technician at Greece Animal Hospital. After eight years of working with animals, her favorite part is getting to know the patients and clients.
In her free time, she volunteers with Pitty Love Rescue, reads, watches Friends, and spends time with her dogs: Sammy, a mini poodle/dachshund mix, and Patricia the pug.
Sara is originally from Spencerport, NY. With a bachelor’s degree in animal science and an associate degree in veterinary technology, she started at Stone Ridge Veterinary Hospital in 2001 and is currently a part-time licensed veterinary technician at Greece Animal Hospital. She also occasionally works at Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Services. Sara enjoys working at Greece Animal Hospital because the staff is “a merry bunch of compassionate and hard-working people.”
Outside of work, Sara and her husband Bill like to ride and race their bikes. She also trains her dogs: Stella, Logan, Tootsie, and Rudy in obedience, rally, conformation, and agility.
Kelly grew up in Rush, NY. She has been working with animals since 2015, and she has been a part of the Greece Animal Hospital team since 2018.
Kelly loves working with her team to provide the best care possible to their clients’ pets. At home, she has Aleu, a husky, Australian Shepard, Australian cattle dog mix. She hopes there will be many more dogs joining her family in the future. Kelly does yoga, reads, paints, and spends time outdoors camping and hiking in her free time.
Valerie is currently a Licensed Vet Tech at Greece Animal Hospital, but she also runs the Amy Karch Memorial Pet Blood Bank at Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Services. Valerie has been working with animals since she joined the MVA team in 2006. She joined the Greece team in 2020.
Kim grew up in the Rochester area and had been working with animals for almost 25 years! She loves Greece Animal Hospital’s environment, which allows her to build stronger relationships with the clients and animals. As an animal care assistant, she enjoys having the opportunity to help educate clients.
In her free time, Kim is still working with animals. Kim and her daughter Molly do dog obedience, agility, and rally with their labs Lexi and Leo. They are also involved in 4H K-9 kids.
Molly is one of our great Animal Care Assistants who joined our team at Greece Animal Hospital in 2018. She is from Rochester, NY, and has always had a passion for working with animals. Molly enjoys working at GAH because her team takes pride in focusing on building patient and client relationships so that each pet has the best experience possible.
Molly rescued a Pitbull mix named Winston, and in her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with Winston.
Dominique joined our team in the summer of 2020 as one of our Animal Care Assistants. She enjoys working at Greece Animal Hospital because she gets to make a difference in patients’ overall care and handling. Every day is different, with opportunities to learn something new. Dominique grew up in Rochester and often put her animal knowledge to excellent use by helping educate those in her community about proper pet care.
Dominique has a degree in Psychology and Criminology from St. John Fisher College. She has five pets of her own at home, including two Standard Poodles, Archie and Magenta, a Shitzu mix named Taurus, A Cane Corso named May, and a Yellow-Eared Slider turtle named Swirlz. In her free time, she enjoys creatively grooming Magenta, Archie, and Taurus and taking long naps.
Dina is a part-time animal care assistant. She began working with animals in 2002 as a kennel attendant. She loves that she gets to work in a place that has such a supportive and upbeat atmosphere. Since she was 17, Dina feels like they are her second family with the Greece Animal Team.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her first family, including her son Lennon and cat Lola May.
Casey was born in Florida but moved to Greece, NY, when she was a kid. She began as a kennel attendant in 2005 and is now the client service representative supervisor.
Casey loves helping educate clients about their pets and work with the amazing Greece Animal Hospital team. In her free time, Casey enjoys stand-up paddleboarding, walking her dogs Titan and Max, and camping with her four kids.
Shannon is our wonderful Client Service Representative Administrative Assistant. She is a Rochester native with an Associate’s Degree in Business who has worked with animals for the last ten years. Shannon loves that her team includes many great, strong women who are colleagues and friends.
Animals are a large part of her life both at work and at home, as Shannon has two pets in her own family: Marley, a black domestic shorthair cat, and Charlie, a chocolate Labrador Retriever. Shannon is recently engaged, and her family also includes a young daughter who she loves to spend time with. When she isn’t playing with her daughter or their pets, she loves to run and make crafts for their new home.
Kim is on our amazing team of Client Service Representatives at Greece Animal Hospital. She has worked with animals since 2018 and loves that her work can help both patients and clients and that she has the opportunity to work with so many great people every day. She joined the Greece team in 2019.
Kim is originally from Huntsville in Ontario, Canada. She has four cats at home, Benny, Ciccy, Stevie La, and Albert. In her free time, she loves watching movies and spending time with her family, including her husband Andrew and daughter Julianne.
Jade has been a member of our Client Service Representative team since 2019. She is excited to have started her career with animals here at Greece Animal Hospital as she grew up in Greece and was surrounded by various pets all her life, including dogs, cats, exotic reptiles, and more! She loves that her job allows her to learn something new every day and that she can share those new experiences with her amazing team.
Jade shares her home with two cats named Cinder and Cheeto, and Axol the Axolotl, though she hopes to add new friends soon! In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, spending time outside, and exploring new places.
Chelsea joined us as a member of our Client Service Representative team in July of 2020 and is excited to be starting her career with animals here at Greece Animal Hospital. She grew up with animals and enjoys building relationships with our clients.
Chelsea recently graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Theatre Arts Management. In her spare time, she enjoys working with the Smith Opera House in Geneva, NY, on their marketing and exploring nature trails.
